Orange County Eye Project (OCEP) is a program under the aegis of Retina Global, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, with the mission to provide specialized eye care to the underserved population in Orange County. And beyond.
The OCEP program is led by a dedicated and involved Board that includes leading ophthalmologists and optometrists in Orange County.

OCEP Key People:
Though the clinic is largely run by volunteers from all over SoCal, and we wouldn’t be where are today without their help and devotion, the day-to-day operations of the OCEP eye clinic are managed by a few, some of whom have been involved in the program since the very beginning.

Others who have been instrumental include Kathryn “Trina” Toyama (retired from Heidelberg), Heather Marion (UCI), Samira Shahrokhshahi (Heidelberg), Joshua Gutierrez (Heidelberg), who come to the clinic as often as they can to provide help and support.
Some of the people who have been key to the success of the program, and have now moved on in their careers. These include America Rojas, Luis de la Cruz, Jordan Tang, and others.
We would also like to acknowledge our collaboration with Lestonnac Free Clinic and Serve The People, which was instrumental in starting this program.
