This clinic was staffed by Dr. Jack Margines from Gavin Herbert Eye Institute, UC Irvine School of Medicine. He had previously attended the OCEP clinic as a UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute resident and now was staffing the clinic as a retina specialist.
We also had 27 volunteers and 6 OCEP personnel, including medical students from UC Irvine School of Medicine, Keck School of Medicine at USC, California University of Science and Medicine, and Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine.
Apart from premed students from various schools including UC Irvine, we also had nursing students from Concordia University Irvine and Vanguard University, who rotate through the OCEP clinics for ophthalmology.
